How to get to Galleri Kambur art residence? You can either take a bus or rent a car.
by bus
The bus travels couple of times a day from Reykjavik to Selfoss our closest town. Further information on the bus can be found on www.sraeto.is - see the timetable for bus #51 and #52, going from Mjódd bus terminal in Reykjavík.
We offer pick-up and drop-off of our residents at the Selfoss- N1 bus stop.
Also, you can get a connecting bus from BSÍ bus terminal where the airport buses take the passengers arriving in KEF airport.
by car
You can hire a car in Keflavík or Reykjavík. Most major international rental agencies are represented in Iceland.
It takes approximately 1 hour drive to Galleri Kambur from Reykjavík and 2-3 hours from Keflavík airport.

Your most critical art supplies or have them shipped ahead of you to Galleri Kambur.
Shopping
Nearest supermarkets are in Selfoss and Hella witch is around 20-30 min drive from Galleri Kambur.
Most common art supplies can be bought in Selfoss or ordered from Reykjavík and mail to Selfoss or Hella.
Once a week we provide a ride to the nearest supermarket for a small fee to cover the gas cost.
Swimming Pools
Swimming pools nearby: Sundlaugin Laugalandi, Sundhöll Selfoss og Sundlaugin á Hellu.
